David Virgo was a member of the Western Warriors cricket squad for 4 years spanning from 1991/92 to 1994/95.

David played for the Mount Lawley District Club. His loyalty ensuring he never played for another club.

His achievements include 3 premierships with Mt Lawley in the WACA Competition. David played with high profile players such as Mike Veletta, Chris Mathews and Mark Atkinson. He was also a captain of the First grade side. David to this day still holds the record for the highest individual score of 232 not out on the the home ground (Breckler Park)for the Mt Lawley Cricket Club.

He is now director of coaching at the club after holding down the position of Head Coach for two years.

David represented Western Australia in Second XI matches against England and other Australian states. His opposition included players such as Graham Thorpe, Andy Caddick and Dominic Corke.

David is a Certified Master Trainer and is registered with Fitness Australia as a Fitness Professional. He currently conducts his own business from his personal training studio in Morley, Perth, Western Australia.

To increase his knowledge as a Master Trainer David has studied with The Australian Graduate School of Health and Science. He has been awarded a "Better Backs" Certification, a Level 1 Mediball Certification and also a Level 2 Corrective Exercise Certification.

David is also an accredited "Boxing for Fitness" instructor gained through Thump Boxing.

David has a young family consisting of 2 young children, Sabina and Tyrone and is married to Adriana. They are expecting another child in April 2007.

David's background in sport goes back to his childhood days in Narrogin. He played all sports from a young age up until the age of 17. He then moved to Perth to play for the Mt Lawley Cricket Club in the Western Australian Cricket Association.

At 15 years of age he represented WA in an U/16 championship in Canberra. At the age of 17 he represented The Upper Great Southern Football league at the country week football championships in 1986. ***bottom-ad.shtml***
